TNT Crane & Rigging Purchases Turner Bros. Crane Operations
TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. (“TNT” or the “Company”) has purchased the crane operations of Turner Bros. LLC (“Turner”). TNT has acquired the stock of all of Turner and the trucking and pipe service businesses have been transferred to the former Turner owners via a spin out. Turner has 60 cranes and branches in Houston, Longview, Beaumont, Abilene and Corpus Christi.
TNT now has in excess of 230 cranes servicing the Gulf Coast from eleven branches spanning Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. This includes full service capabilities ranging from a complete portfolio of rigging capabilities, crawlers, boom trucks and on up to the LTM 11200 (1350 ton crane).
The acquisition is TNT’s largest to date and will be a strong positive for the customers, the combined employee groups and the industry overall. Customers will be better served from a larger and stronger company as well as the combining of assets and resource utilization. Employees will have more opportunities in the combined group.
